    • pcb’s (printed circuit board) check
    • heating element resistance check
    • thermal fuse check
    • ceramic plate condition check
    • thermistor check
    • cleaning of all parts
    • heating elements refitted to ceramic plates using heatsink compound
    • reassemble
    • operating temperature check
    • auto shut down check

Finally the straighteners are given an in service inspection and electrical safety check by a qualified person. They come with a guaranteed complete refund if they are found to be a fake copy and a six month repair warranty should they develop a fault due to defective parts
