Our unique repair labour and return service allows us to offer you a much more tailored repair service for your individual set of hair straighteners.
Currently other GHD repair companies offer an all in repair service with prices ranging between £25 to £35 Plus many hidden extras.
With over 10 years of GHD hair straightener repair experience we know that the most common faults are blown thermal fuses due to there age, a failed resistor caused by a loose connection or a cracked heater element.
so why pay a premium price for a simple repair ??
We charge only
£19.50
For our labour and return postage.
This covers all the labour costs to replace any parts and return your straighteners to you via 2nd class business post meaning you only pay extra for any parts that are needed.
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF TOTAL COSTS
CUSTOMER 1
Has a set of faulty genuine Ghds.
They purchase our repair labour service at £19.50 and send them to us.
On receipt we inspect and test them and discover the fault is a blown thermal fuse which has failed due to its age.
we invoice the customer the cost of the parts needed, in this case 1x thermal fuse.
Once the payment is completed we carry out the repairs and return the straighteners back to the customer via the standard return postage service.
Total cost to customers for our parts labour and return postage.

CUSTOMER 2
Has a set of faulty genuine ghds.
They purchase our repair labour service at £19.50 and send them to us.
On receipt we inspect and test them and discover the fault is a broken heater element
we invoice the customer the cost of the parts needed, in this case 1x heater element and a thermal fuse.
we receive the payment carry out the repairs and return the customers straighteners back to them via the standard return postage service.

£27.00
We also have a maximum replacement electrical parts price cap of £10 which means no matter how many electrical components including fuses, resistors, cables, cable connectors, heaters etc we have to use to complete your repair the MAXIMUM cost will never exceed £29.50

On receipt of your straighteners we will test them and identify any defective parts
Once we have repaired your straighteners we will then give them a PAT-TEST to ensure they are completely safe.

1) CHECK YOUR MODEL IS LISTED ABOVE
(NOTE: IF YOU SEND US A MODEL NOT LISTED ABOVE, THERE WILL BE AN £8.50 CHARGE TO RETURN THEM) 2) Buy the repair service
3) Wrap your straighteners in some bubble wrap put in a jiffy bag and post to the address below.
Please do not send in the box as these may not be returned
4) Include your name, your email address, phone number, return address and a brief description of the fault.

Once received and tested we will contact / email you with a final cost for your repair (Please Check Your Junk Folder), this can be paid via paypal or credit/ debit card via this website.
Please note that once we receive your order we book you a virtual repair slot. We expect to receive your straighteners within 2 weeks of your repair purchase. If we do not receive them within 2 weeks of your purchase then please be aware that although they will still be repaired, there could be a delay in repairing them
All repairs carry a 3 month return to base warranty and you will be responsible for postage costs on warranty claims.
The return postage will be via Royal Mail 48 which carries no compensation for lost in post items. Alternative return postage options including next day with compensation are available during purchase.
Broken/damaged bodies and scratched ceramic plates are not covered but can be replaced for an extra charge, please contact us before you make the purchase if you need these replacing and we will give you a quote. Repairs to the PCB’S (printed circuit boards) are included in this repair service, many companies charge extra for this.
If a ceramic plate holder or cable is required a black one will be fitted as standard. Coloured ones may available at an extra cost and we will contact you with that option if need be.
Please Note We Do NOT Repair Fake Ghd Straighteners
If you send us a pair of fake irons either knowingly or un-knowingly they will be returned to you. £8.50 of the initial purchase price will be used to cover our time and extra return postage & packaging costs using a signed for service. The balance of the voucher price will be refunded to you via paypal. If you opt for us to dispose of them the purchase price will be refunded in full.

Please Be Aware
If you have used “superglue” on your irons and we can’t dismantle them for repair due to the superglue, we will return them to you unrepaired with the same costs as stated for fake irons.
